Transylvania Univeristy Theatre Guild

Theatre Guild is a student run organization that specializes in Theatre at Transylvania University. We work in close proximity with the Theatre Department at the University, with many of our members being scholarship students, majors, minors, or any combination thereof. Of course, you don't have to be any of those in order to join us, we accept any interested students with open arms.

 

As an organization, we strive for excellence in the performing art of theatre. Our main goal is to make the art as accessible to as many people as possible.  We run workshops to help students with monologues and public speaking skills, hold events such as interactive dinner parties, and put on at least one show per year that is exclusively student run. We offer opportunites for more people to get involved in the theatre, acting as a sort of bridge between the general student body and the department itself in many cases.
